A solo by and with Helena Franzén
Helena Franzen’s choreographic work relates to the concepts of existence, time, space and causality. In the solo Tremolo, she continues her work on the theme of the body’s own breathing. Dynamic events, musicality, vibrating intensity and silence are put in focus. By mastering our own breathing we can reach maximum strength. With your breath, you create life.
Helena Franzén has an ongoing collaboration with the musician and composer Jukka Rintamäki and over ten years time they have created fifteen works together.
The solo Tremolo is built on the unique synthesiser world of Rintamäki, where a landscape of sound and movement emerges.
”I turn around and look back. Between the forest and me is the strip of snow that reveals my steps, which reveals something else. What, I cannot quite grasp. You, it could be you” Josefine Klougart, Danish author and poet
